About GarageDex
GarageDex is an independent reference that answers one question well: what part actually fits your exact car? Today that covers 3,072 verified specs across 250 models from 40 makes, starting with battery group sizes and wiper blade sizes.
Why we built it
Fitment answers are scattered across owner's manuals, forum threads, retailer finders, and PDFs, and they often disagree. We assemble that information in one place, check it, and show our work, so you get a single clear answer instead of a guess.
How we verify
We build the vehicle list from the U.S. government's public NHTSA vPIC database, then check each spec against authoritative manufacturer or retailer fitment sources and cross-check where they disagree. Every page shows the source we used and the date we last checked it. Read the full method.
Independent by design
We are a reference, not a parts store. The spec comes first; the "where to buy" links are optional and never change the answer. We earn a small affiliate commission when you buy through some links, disclosed at every link and at no extra cost to you. How we make money.
